Event Description

The 2014 New Mexico Jazz Festival begins on July 11 and runs through July 27. Featuring NEA Jazz Master, Jack DeJohnette (with Ravi Coltrane & Matthew Garrison); Tootie Heath, Ethan Iverson, Ben Street Trio; Bumble Bee's Jazz All Stars w. Dick Hyman, Bucky Pizzarelli, Jay Leonhart, Randy Sandke & Lewis Nash; Omar Sosa; Arrested Development; Raoul Midon; Claudia Villela; Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole; Film Screening: Bayou Maharajah: The Tragic Genius of James Booker; Route 66 Summerfest 2014, and more. This year's Route 66 Summerfest in Nob Hill takes place on July 19 and is once again a 3 day event with a concert at the Hiland Theater on Friday July 18 plus Jazz Brunches around Nob Hill on Sunday morning.
