It's an after Thanksgiving celebration with Frank Leto and PANdemonium who perform the lively musical styles of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil and New Orleans in an evening of original music. "Carnaval" rhythms, such as the samba, frevo, batucada, calypso, comparsa and more are the pallette of this pan-Caribbean all-star ensemble. Multi-instrumentalist, Frank Leto is equally adept on steel drums, bata, sartenes (frying pans), cuica (friction drum), washboard, and more, and is joined by some of Albuquerque’s finest musicians—César Bauvallet, trombone; Paul Gonzales, trumpet, Daniel Ward, guitar; Steve Figueroa, keyboards; Howard Cloud, bass; Arnaldo Acosta, drums; and Nick Baker percussion.
