A CashMob is an event that supports local businesses and creates community involvement by getting people together to go to a local restaurant and a secret retail business to spend money.
All we ask is that you bring $10-$20 to spend to support these businesses. Its a great way to support your local economy, discover new local businesses and meet members of your community.
The secret CashMob business location is downtown, a block away from Metro court. To meet up, we'll be having food trucks in the parking lot at the SW corner of 4th and Marble from 1-3pm and you can go to the retail business anytime you want after you've signed in and gotten your CashMob Button.
The food trucks are The Boiler Monkey and The Supper Truck
The retail business is relatively new to the Downtown area, but houses the art work of over 50 local artist from all over New Mexico. The shops owners have been working artisans in Albuquerque for 7 1/2 years. The Shop contains quality handmade goods ranging from home decor, kitchen items, fine and funky jewelry and children and baby items. The Shop is a great place to get a unique and quality handmade gift for your various social needs. With such an incredible variety you are sure to find something that you'll use and admire everyday.
Come and support some great food trucks and a unknown gem of a local business.
