AirDance New Mexico presents Whichever Way the Wind Blows at the AirDance ArtSpace November 8-10, 2013
An evening of aerial dance and theater, featuring works on trapezes, aerial fabric, hammock, lyra, and a new, made-to-order aerial cube. Performers explore the winds of change, moving from one realm to another through the portal of the aerial cube. Some find freedom and joy in the air, while others find themselves trapped by a trapeze or a hoop. Fabric intertwines and reshapes, mirroring ever-changing relationships and fates. Featuring performers Amy Bourque, Christina Cavaleri, Diana Delgado, Kaitlin Frady, Joanna Furgal, Dara Minkin, Zachary Sears, Tasha Williams, and composer Monica Demarco performing her original music live. The show also includes original music by local composer Casey Mraz. Appropriate for all ages. In celebration of the show, local artist Paul Jenks will exhibit a collection of his works in the lobby.
