Learn the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga asanas (poses) step-by-step followed by simple kundalini meditations.
Instruction will focus on correct breathing, alignment and points of concentration for the fundamental asanas of Ashtanga yoga. This includes surya namaskar (sun salutes), standing asanas, basic finishing asanas, and rest.
This class meets every Wednesday in September at the Albuquerque Ashtanga Yoga Shala from 4-5:15pm. $10 drop in, cash only please.
