One of Albuquerque's newest and freshest duos, Bébé La La features singer-songwriter, guitarist, violist, Alicia Ultan and singer-accordionist, Maryse Lapierre, originally from Quebec, Canada. Performing original Folk-Americana songs, French ballads and a variety of ecletic covers with twist, their signature heavenly harmonies, rhythmic lilts and rich melodies have wowed audiences throughout Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Bébé La La has performed at the Outpost Performance Space, Old Town, the Corrales Harvest Festival, Solid Grounds Coffeehouse, The Source, Corrales Bistro Brewery, Marble Brewery, and many other venues throughout Albuquerque as well as southern New Mexico. Susan Dunlap of NM Sentinel wrote, “Bébé La La’s music is beautiful and haunting with sophisticated, intelligent lyrics," while Mel Minter of Albuquerque The Magazine says, "Bébé La La's harmonies slip easily into the ear." Come get in the holiday spirit and join Bébé La La for the Albuquerque Museum's Art in the Afternoon series--as they perform in the lobby. Free admission & parking, plus Slate Street Cafe will be open for treats!
