Event Description

Thinking about keeping bees? Beekeeping season is now!

Learn about keeping bees in Albuquerque and meet other local beekeepers.

Special topics in March include:

  • Beginners: What should I be doing now in my hive?
  • Intermediate: How do I split a hive before it swarms?

This meeting is FREE. Our group is an informal (no dues required) gathering of local beekeepers who want to stay informed and stay connected.

I would very much like to attend but I am involved in a "Celebration of Life" Saturday afternoon. I have just built 3 top frame hives, two per the T.J. Carr deminisions, and one I had built to the Jemez area deminsions. I have a bunch of questions, hopefully you'll have anothe meeting soon. I will be getting a pkg. around the end of April from Bosque Bee's.

Sorry we'll miss you Mike, but we plan to meet monthly this summer so let's catch up in April.
