Event Description

Come to the Bike Swap and buy anything bike related and help support BikeABQ. There are hundreds of bicycles and items related to bicycles -- parts, clothing, shoes, helmets, lights...you name it. This is the only event like this in Albuquerque and it only happens once a year, so come on over and get yourself a new bike--or helmet---or pump--or....

Comment by Tami Duncan on April 15, 2010 at 11:37am: How exactly does it work? If I have items I'd like to sell I take them to Sports Systems, pay $1/item I have to sell. They charge a 17% commission on the stuff that sells that's mine. Do I stay there to sell my stuff or do they do it for me? If I stay there, do I get a "booth" type thing to sell from and stay as long as I want? Or, they sell my stuff and give me the money when everything is said and done? Is the fund raiser part the $1 per item and the 17% commission?

Sorry...I've never participated before so I have all these silly questions.
