The latest installment in the acclaimed Young Royals series by a master of historical fiction tells the story of the powerful and passionate Mary Queen of Scots, who was widowed at eighteen, stripped of her throne, and set adrift, but never gave up her brutal campaign to regain her sovereignty.

Carolyn Meyer has had three signings at Alamosa Books now! An author of historical fiction, she has written over 50 books, the more recent of which being her series Young Royals, a collection of novels based on the lives of famous women in their teen years. She has traveled to several places in the world, including Egypt, South Africa, South America, Bahrain, Japan, and several locations in Europe. She currently lives in a loft in downtown Albuquerque, where she enjoys the marvelous views of the city.
