 The UNM Center for the Southwest is pleased to announce the 2014 C. Ruth and Calvin P. Horn Lecture in Western History and Culture. This year's lecturer Dr. Brenda E. Stevenson, professor of History at UCLA, will present "Rethinking the L.A. Riots of 1992: Contested Images of the 'Female' in the Murder Trial of Soon Ja Du," on Thursday, April 17th at 5:30pm in George Pearl Hall Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. A book signing and reception will follow the lecture.
