Event Description

Genuine Southwest Art & Gifts is a local female-artist owned shop, and is celebrating its one year anniversary. Located in the newly updated Plaza Hacienda, on the East side of Old Town, this shop has 1,000 square feet of artwork handmade by a variety of artists who live here in New Mexico.

The shop owners, Valerie Isenhower, Charlene Kalbfell and Jennifer Spradlin are celebrating their anniversary with a public reception on Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 9:00am to 9:00pm; and on Sunday, September 7, 2014, from 9:00am to 6:00pm Come celebrate and meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and local music, and enjoy 10% off of your total purchase on these two days! You can also register in person to win a 16x24 acrylic framed fine art photograph of our Sandia Mountains, by Val Isenhower; and gift certificates to Backstreet Grill. (You don’t need to be present to win; drawing at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 7, 2014).
