This exhibition celebrates colcha embroidery, a technique that is traced back to 18th-century Hispanic settlers of the region and continues into the present day.
Organized by the Museums of New Mexico, New Mexico Farm and Ranch (NMFR) Museum; co-curated by NMFR volunteers Rita Hartley and Mary Pierce, supplemented by works from The Albuquerque Museum collection.
