Event Description

Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico to benefit from Concert

Corazon – featuring Patty Stephens and the Brazil Project,

Chris Dracup and Jose Ponce!

Since 2001, the Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico has been providing free support groups for young people ages 5-25 who’ve had a loved one die.

These specialized services are provided at no charge and without any state or federal funding.

Sunday, September 28th from 1pm – 4pm

(doors open at noon)

$20 tickets, kids age 12 and under can attend at no charge!

Come down to the Grief Center’s beautiful near North Valley headquarters, spread out a blanket and enjoy some fantastic live music from local favorites The Brazil Project! The Brazil Project performs a blend of traditional, contemporary, and original Brazilian music featuring samba, bossa nova, the excitement of carnival and top-flight jazz and Latin improvisations. The band features Patty Stephens, vocals; Rob “Milo” Jaramillo, bass; Frank Leto, percussion; Bert Dalton, piano; and John Bartlit, drums.

All proceeds will benefit the Grief Center, providing Central New Mexico’s only free support groups for grieving kids.
