Please join Family Development Program, Decade of the Child and the Native American Parent Resource Center for our exciting Family Play event at the Old Town Plaza on Sat. Aug. 28 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Families will play and explore "How the city views our children and how our children view our city?" There will also be healthy snacks, live music and story tellers.

This Free event will Kick Off the Strong Starts for Child Dialogues and
Launch the Decade of the Child.

Claire Dudley will read Gov. Richardson and Lt. Gov. Denish's proclamation,
declaring 2010-2020 the Decade of the Child.

You can also discover how the Strong Starts for Children Dialogue Sessions will be providing an opportunity for folks in the Albuquerque area to come together to discover ways to help meet the needs of young children and their families.
