Entrelac creates a beautiful woven diamond pattern using simple knits and purls. In this 2-week class you will learn the basics of entrelac. Our project will be a simple but beautiful headband that will be sure to impress all of those non-entrelac knitters. Taught by Ramona Chesley and Chris Appleton. $35 for both sessions.
Skills: Must be able to knit, purl, increase, decrease and pick-up stitches.
Materials: For the first class please bring size 7 or 8 needles, straight needles actually work best but are not required and 50 yards of any worsted weight yarn for knitting practice swatches. We will discuss extra materials needed for the headband at our first class.
You can register online at www.sweatergirlsknit.com or call 280-7557.
