Event Description

The NHCC invites you to join us for a celebration of Chilean film and art, including an exclusive curator-led tour of the Art Museum's closing exhibit "Stitching Resistance: The History of Chilean Arpilleras" and a screening of the critically acclaimed and Academy Award-nominated Chilean film NO. The film, directed by Pablo Larraín and featuring the stellar Gael García Bernal, chronicles the explosive events that led to the 1988 plebiscite ending the presidency of military dictator Augusto Pinochet. Join us for this exciting and educational evening, with more surprises and special guests to be announced.
