Artists or artisans trying to get into the marketplace are invited to attend a free Bernalillo County workshop that will teach the arty entrepreneur how to do it.Local business leaders will again offer free training and guidance at the county’s next small business workshop, scheduled for the evening of June 25.
Interested artists can reserve a spot today for this free workshop, “How to Take Your Art to Market for the Artisan and Artist.” The workshop is hosted by District 3 Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins.
Presenters include Roy Johnson, Owner and Director of Sumner & Dene Gallery, Deepak Asoori, Supply Chain Planning Manager of Rio Grande Inc. along with Becky Scheffler, Supply Manager, also with Rio Grande Inc.To register please contact Shawn Perry-Turner at (505) 468-7817 or spturner@bernco.gov.
