Event Description

Explore Printmaking through Harwood Art Center's Creative Roots program with teaching artist Sarah Dewey!

Saturdays from 1 - 3pm
February 8th and February 18th
@ Harwood's 6th St. Studio (1029 6th St. NW)

Screen printing is one of the most accessible techniques in printmaking and simple enough to do at home. Come to one workshop and learn to screen print using our provided images, or attend two or more workshops to learn how to make your own image to print on paper or fabric! Bring t-shirts and / or other fabric you want to print on. Paper will be provided.

These workshops are free and open to youth ages 6 - 14 (along with their parents, guardians and mentors) of all artistic backgrounds and abilities. All participants under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 Call Jennifer DePaolo at 505.242.6367

Hosted by Harwood Art Center’s Creative Roots Community Outreach program. Creative Roots is made possible by the generous support of Harwood Art Center & Bernalillo County.
