Event Description

Chris Dracup, a life long resident of New Mexico, began performing at the age of sixteen in his hometown of Taos, NM. Known for his stunning and soulful electric blues guitar, he works in a diverse range of musical styles. His acoustic guitar playing draws heavily from the blues tradition, an eclectic mix of Delta slide, country blues and jazz influences. His songwriting has garnered critical and popular acclaim and won him an enduring fan base.

Mystic Vic plays up-tempo blues and rock n’ roll. They may be the longest running blues band in Albuquerque, having formed in the early 1990’s (but they are still younger than the Rolling Stones).  The band’s hallmarks are its tight arrangements and ensemble playing, honed by years of performing – both individually, and together as a band.  Mystic Vic’s infectious music will put a grin on your face and a glide in your stride.  Mystic Vic is Tom Brahl, drums; Scott Blackwell, guitar and vocals; Chaz Jetty, guitar and vocals; Larry Wells, bass and vocals; and Jack Brant, blues harp and vocals.

Admission: General, $16; seniors, students, NMJW & ABQ Museum members, $14
