Pat Malone performs with professionalism, versatility and pure energy that captivates and inspires his audiences. He has worked as a guitarist and vocalist on hundreds of projects. As an arranger and musical producer, he has helped many artists get their music recorded. This talented musician has an extraordinary flair for finding just the right lick to make a tune come alive and shine.
Well-known drummer Arnaldo Acosta has fluidly adapted his style to a variety of musical endeavors for almost two decades here in Albuquerque. He got his start touring Europe and the Caribbean with Dominican artists before moving to Duke City where he currently plays with Fat City. For this performance, The Arnaldo Acosta Group will be performing a selection of modern and traditional jazz. The majority of the pieces that the group will interpret are in the soul jazz style which is a development of jazz incorporating strong influences from blues, soul, gospel, and R & B. Stu MacAskie (keys), Colin Deuble (bass), Phil Arnold (trombone and harmonica), and special guest Doug Lawrence (tenor saxophone).
