Event Description

Dancer, choreographer, movement educator, and movement therapist Debra Landau will teach a low-flying trapeze workshop for persons, 16 years old and up. No previous dance or acrobatic experience necessary.

The low-flying trapeze is a very mobile trapeze hung from a center point so that the bar and ropes form a triangle. "Low-flying" refers to the bar being within reach of a person standing on the floor, allowing the person to easily get on and off the bar. Beginners can enjoy "flight" in the first lesson, including swings, hangs, and spins below the bar, and mounts and poses on the bar. Those at an intermediate level can venture into partnering. Reserve your spot by e-mail or by calling (505)842-9418.
