Come spend a day working at Lunar Nautics Space Systems, Inc., a fictional aerospace company specializing in mission management, lunar habitat and exploration design, and scientific research. Students will work within a budget to design a lunar habitat, select scientific instruments necessary for survival, build a model of a Lunar Lander and prepare a presentation to obtain potential “NASA” funding for their project all while engaging in fun, hands on experiments that model the science that goes into real mission design! Thursday, March 14, 2013; 8:30-3:30. For students in grades 4-6. $50 per student. Pre-registration is required! Register at http://www.challengernm.org/holiday-camp-programs.php.
