You are invited to help celebrate our first official “Mercado Cultura”!


Art • Crafts • Food Truck and Food Vendor • Children’s Art Activities for Father’s Day


When: June 15 (Saturday), 2013

Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Where: El Chante

           804 Park Ave. SW

           Albuquerque, NM 87102, Across the street from the

             Downtown Grower’s Market, on the southwest corner


Pick up some early Father's Day gifts, make some Father’s Day gifts, and enjoy some good food by some of our community members!


Food vendors: Mayahuel’s Food Truck and Bocadillo’s Catering


Vendors include:

Pablo Marquez- traditional New Mexico woodwork and paintings.

Adriana Ramirez- live art, clay dolls made just for you

Kirbieleya Platero- earrrings with her original art and artwork

Los Jardines Institute

Comadre a Comadre, a project of El Chante, works to highlight and promote the art and crafts of women, families, and all community members by selling their art, crafts, and fashion by building a collective energy for economic development and collective success.


Comadre a Comadre creates a networking space for entrepreneurs and small businesses owners to gather together to network, share their experiences, opportunities, lessons learned, and to promote female participation and leadership in the small business community and the world of entrepreneurship.
