We are actually spending $8 - $9 per person for the appetizers, which are good ones, things like coconut shrimp and smoked salmon mousse canapes. Plus events like this are one of the perks we try to offer members so that their membership includes access to networking opportunities. I do know where you are coming from. In looking at the budget however the cost is justified. We have charged $25 per non-member in the past for the same event so we did what we could. Thanks for sharing your thought on this and I wish we could afford to do more!
