Event Description

Long time naturalist and beekeeper Les Crowder will teach a series of classes in chemical and gadget free beekeeping. He keeps bees without antibiotics, motheballs, or insecticides. He has kept bees in the Albuquerque area for more than 30 years. Learn how to make simple low impact and low cost hives and get bees to pollinate local gardens and fruit trees. Harvest your own local honey and bright beeswax.
