The final program in our Introduction to the Classics series looks at two contrasting titans of Romantic piano music. Logan Skelton will perform and speak about their respective solo works -- Chopin’s Nocturne in c minor, Op. 48, No. 1, Ballade No. 1 in g minor, Op. 23, and Ballade No. 4 in f minor, Op. 52, plus Liszt’s “Liebestod” from Tristan and Isolde and the Sonata in b minor. Logan Skelton is a much sought after pianist who has concertized widely in the United States, Europe and Asia. Hosted by Brent Stevens.
