In their second collaboration of our 2012-2013 Season, the New Mexico Philharmonic and the New Mexico Ballet Company will perform the classic ballet based on Shakespeare's tragic love story. Composed in 1935 or 1936 for the Kirov Ballet, Prokofiev's score is one of his most popular works. Under the direction of Artistic Director Jolie Sutton-Simballa, the talented dancers will present the beautiful story of love and loss. Grant Cooper returns to Albuquerque to conduct this production.
