The UNM Project PeacePal Student Group has been working hard this semester and is thrilled to announce they’ve organized a 5k and 10k run/walk called “Pace for Peace.” This special event welcomes all ages to run or walk to support a program PeacePal works closely with, the Rural Girl Child Mentorship in Uganda.

Arrive early: Check-in will begin at the Hoffmantown Church parking lot at 1:15 pm. Start Times (tentative): 10k: 2:00 pm, 5k: 2:15 pm. The race itself will start near the intersection of Harper and Ventura.

Registration is currently open and will remain open until the afternoon of the race. The general entry fee is $20 per adult and $10 per child. All participants will receive a T-Shirt, a numbered bib and refreshments. Registration is available by visiting www.active.com, search keyword “Pace for Peace 5k and 10k.”
