Family Education Pilot Courses for Fall 2013
In an effort to provide greater service to the community, the Jewish Academy of Arts & Sciences is offering a variety of classes this fall. Open to the entire community, these classes will cover a range of subjects, including Jewish studies, parenting, and specialized courses for educational and medical professionals. We’re offering single-session classes as a pilot for the program that would fully launch in January 2014.
Parenting Your Way through Behavioral Challenges (adults)
Feel like nothing is working? The workshop will explore behavioral difficulties and a myriad of tools to help teach children accountability while increasing the behaviors you would like to see. Concepts such as natural and logical discipline will be the focus. Several theories will be introduced and explored and open discussion will allow participants to share tips and suggestions.
