About the school:
The Albuquerque School of Massage Therapy and Health Sciences (www.abqschool.com) first opened in September 2010.  The school sits between the west and east sides of Albuquerque and is nestled amongst cottonwoods just south of Sandia Pueblo land. The school’s setting will serve as a convenient respite for students, staff, and massage clinic patients.

Our entry-level program represents an innovative approach to massage therapy education.  We are the first school in the country whose curriculum is based on the newly-defined (2010) core competencies of the massage therapy profession (www.mtbok.org).  We are excited to provide our students with a solid educational foundation in the art and science of massage therapy.  The owner of the school has been a massage therapy educator in Albuquerque for 13 years and is currently in private practice.
