Event Description

Quintessence: Choral Artists of the Southwest (Matthew Greer, Artistic Director) welcomes the La Catrina String Quartet on March 9th and 10th for its first concerts of the new year. Titled “The Leavetaking,” these performances will feature music of love, loss, sorrow, and, ultimately, hope. This project is made possible in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts. The ensembles will perform music of Beethoven, Whitacre, Gjeilo, Tavener, and more!
