British born Richard Smith and his lovely, very accomplished cellist wife, Julie Adams currently live in Nashville, TN.  The duo has been to Albuquerque on several occasions, and I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy their performances.  Richard Smith won the 2001 National Fingerpicking Championship, but awards and words alone are not enough to describe his guitar wizardry.  Witness him for yourself, and you too will become a fan for life.

Julie Adams has won numerous cello competitions and has performed in a wide variety of musical settings.  She has performed with orchestras throughout the United States, and when she and her husband, Richard Smith team up and perform together, audiences are delighted with the eclectic mix of Julie’s lyrical style coupled with Richard’s flawless guitar technique.
