The Royal Dancers and Drummers of Burundi have toured the world for decades and are considered one of the world’s best percussion ensembles. Their heart-stopping rhythms cross social and cultural barriers worldwide. Audiences at their concerts get swept up in the complex and compelling sounds and dance the musicians create. Their inspiration of and contributions to the World Music phenomenon continue to this day with their competitive and creative improvisation sessions and their unquestioned virtuosity.
