Food is our first line of defense for disease prevention. This class will introduce the types of foods that are appropriate during each season, which produce optimal balance and nourishment for our bodies. In addition to lecture and demonstration, students will get a chance to cook some great seasonal dishes! Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will also explore the differences in body types and constitutions to ascertain which foods are ideal for each individual. You will leave with information that you can immediately incorporate into your lifestyle to change your eating habits forever. Note: A $15 food fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class. Tuition is $69.
