Great food, talented local bands and free family activities highlight this year’s Spirit of The North Valley -- Fiesta de Alameda Celebration.
This year’s event is Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center, 9800 4th Street NW.
Community center manager Anabel Cadena has organized an impressive lineup:
- Seven food trucks.
- A grower’s market.
- A car show.
- Live music by local headliners Paul Pino and Red Wine.
This year’s celebration has been scheduled as part of Bernalillo County’s new fall event lineup to coincide with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, when visitors from all over the world travel to Bernalillo County.
There’s plenty for the whole family at this special event!
Be sure to check out performances from Baila Balia Folklorico and Mariachi San Jose.
The celebration also includes chile tasting and pastelito, or dessert tasting contests.
Other free activities include a disc golf tournament, fun jumps, and a balloon arts and crafts for children.
