Starry Nights is back for another season of awe-inspiring discoveries that take us through the Milky Way and beyond!
Learn about the stars, constellations, planets and other deep-sky objects as we navigate through a virtual model of the universe. Explore a virtual recreation of the night’s beautiful New Mexico sky, then visit the observation deck to see those objects through your own eyes. Several different telescopes will reveal the night sky, including a 16-inch Meade research class telescope, which is housed in the Museum’s observatory. Museum admission is included in your Starry Nights ticket price, so you can learn about the planet beneath our feet as well as the sky above!
Date Night is a grown-up version of Starry Nights, which will include hors d'oeuvres and live music.
Members: $15 per person
Non-Members: $20 per per
Planetarium shows for each Starry Nights event play at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
Please Note: Although our telescopes cannot see through the clouds, during inclement weather we will have tours of the observatory, demonstrations on how telescopes work, and many other indoor astronomy activities.
