Sweet Honey in the Rock has built a distinguished legacy over the past three decades as one of the most celebrated ambassadors of á cappella music. An all-female vocal ensemble, the women of Sweet Honey in the Rock are strongly committed to creating music from the rich textures of African-American legacy and traditions. The group’s repertoire speaks from the music of the Black church, the calls of the civil rights movement and songs of the struggle for justice everywhere.
