Latin Grammy winning cellist Antonio Lysy brings Te Amo, Argentina to the Albuquerque Journal Theatre at the National Hispanic Cultural Center for one night only, Wednesday, October 9th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $22, $30, and $37 and are available from the NHCC Box Office at (505) 724-4771. Lysy will be joined by the Capitol String Ensemble, pianist Brian Pezzone, and double bassist Pablo Motta. This exciting performance also includes live tango dance by internationally acclaimed stars Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo. Their original choreography is a blend of traditional tango, ballet, and modern dance that helps complete this stirring tribute to Argentina.
Larici and Barrionuevo are the stars of Broadway’s Forever Tango, NBC’s Superstars of Dance, and FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance.
Join us early for a special pre-show artist meet-and-greet cocktail party featuring a cash bar and Argentinian snacks. Tickets for the pre-show party are $75 for one or $100 for two and those prices include top-tier tickets for the show.
Following the performance, there will be a post-show Milonga (Argentinian Dance) sponsored by tangoXchange and featuring QTango. This event is FREE with your ticket to the performance.
