Event Description

Expand your potential by exploring Nia, an expressive dance fitness class that invites participants to be playful and imaginative. Tap into body sensation with this movement practice influenced by the dance, martial, and healing arts. Both guided and freestyle movement will inspire invention and can be applied to any creative process. The two-hour workshop will conclude with journaling, sketching, or molding clay, allowing you to solidify and connect your experience to your medium of choice. Presented in conjunction with Women & Creativity.
