Event Description

April 11 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. AND April 12 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Bernalillo County Open Space and partners invite East Mountain landowners to attend a free training on constructing water catchments for wildlife. Wildlife water catchments in times of drought can be lifesaving for animals roaming the East Mountains in search of water. Participants who attend the two-day training will get hands-on experience as well as qualify to apply for funding to install a wildlife catchment on their own property. Space is limited. Participants must register at www.bernco.gov/openspace and own land in the East Mountains.
