What's going on, Albuquerque?

Free Cholla

I have at least 12 small to large cholla cacti that need a new home to make way for a goat pasture.

Any takers? I am in the far south valley.

I've heard of different ways to move these hairy beasts using bubble wrap or thick paper/cardboard/newspaper to envelope the cacti.

But a guy came yesterday and just dug up the shrub and carefully handled it by its roots to carry it to his truck and didn't get barbed. So...maybe it's not such a difficult process after all.

You can also break off small pieces to replant, avoiding the whole "how do I move that monster" question.
