What's going on, Albuquerque?

As many of you have heard by now, the hole in front of the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum that was "supposed" to be a reflection pond is now an abyss of sand and lost memories. My question for you is what do you think should be done to it?

A xeric labyrinth, like this but with native plants .
This one is on the campus of Boston College in memory of alumni that dies on 9-11.

I like the labyrinth idea too! There's a nice one in front of the Folk Art Museum in Santa Fe, it'd be nice to get one a little closer to home.

Doesn't really have anything to do with balloons of course, but then again neither does a reflecting pond...

There we go! Perfect! And we could have people enter and exit at nearly the same point (where the basket would be), to represent the way the "Albuquerque Box" works.
