What's up with the Golden Crown Panaderia?

My wife asked me to get her some empanadas for work this morning (I love calabaza empanadas). When I got to the Golden Crown (about 7 am), the place was closed up tight - no signs of life. Sign on the door said "Closed Mondays". Their telephone message says that they're closed until January 8th. Has anyone out there in cybermundo heard anything?

The wife and I ate it for dinner. . .then breakfast on Saturday. . .then for dinner again (we had some afternoon snacks, but I think we would have gone with the green chile bread if we had been in the house!).
