I just thought I'd share this article about Albuquerque from the New York Times. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Gee, this article makes me wish I lived in Albuquerque.... oh, wait a minute...I do.
And that it wasn't all about Balloon Fiesta too. Couldn't agree more about Ezra's.
I am frequently pleasantly reminded of Alb.and N.M. , for I find it often mentioned  in press, radio , film and conversation.
This is a great story and true, even if they had to go all the way back to 1880 to discover the railroad boom. I hope it helps breath some life into the housing market. With the 100th anniversary of statehood coming up, we may see much more of this. It's funny, I've lived here all my life and I didn't learn about Bugs Bunny's Albuquerque connections until I saw a cartoon on DCF a couple of years ago. I guess I missed a lot of picture shows at the Kimo, Sunshine, State and El Rey.
I love the fact that the NYT mentioned the Church of Beethoven and the Golden Crown Panaderia.  But really, living here is just like life in  in 'Breaking Bad'.  Come for a visit, but don't move here!  We are big enough. ;->
An interesting perspective, to be sure.  Before the Mayor's "The Plan" turned into taxpayer subsidized road improvements for west side developers and recreational amenities for Mesa del Sol, it proposed improvements to our system of bike trails.  Apparently some consider bike trails a tourist amenity, but not our City Council.
