Good luck!  Sounds kind of like Montessori for high schoolers!

Holy cow, $12,500 a YEAR...?  I had no idea how expensive private school was.  

We looked into some private schools a couple of years ago. The average price was about 8000 a year I think... I think it would be worth it but doubt we'll ever be able too pull that off... 

Check out Nex+Gen Academy.  It's an APS school of choice.  Free, because it's public.
