I copied this from Inhabitants of Burque on Facebook and had to share. I love Albuquerque.

How that dude doesn't have  skin cancer is amazing...they should study his skin.

I've wondered if Don's constant sun exposure is less risky (as far as cancer goes) than covering up with clothes and sunscreen, then letting down your guard a few times and getting few horrific sunburns.

With his limited diet, I would love to get a bloodtest out of that guy and look at his various nutrient levels, too.  He seems to be very healthy.  Sadly, I don't think he'll let us study him while he's alive.

I wonder this too...seems like much like sailors of old, you'd sort of tenderize your skin like an old leather boot and get to a point where you don't really sunburn or damage anymore. Just like you suggest, I imagine that would make you less vulnerable than someone whose skin gets a chance to recover and get sensitive again between exposures.

I know he credits his lack of cancer to daily sunbathing, a raw vegan diet, and drinking a quantity of his own urine on a daily basis...no idea whether there's anything to that or not.

I believe he also bathes in his own urine (at least I remember having read a quote from him about bathing in his own urine and him considering that practice being healthful).

The urine has not been kind to the enamel on his teeth, but otherwise he seems pretty healthy.

I see him all the time in Old Town, doing a jig... sometimes with other people.  I'm not a fan.

Awesome photo, btw. Looks like Don knows how to cut a rug.

What does Don wear in the winter?

Saw him yesterday. Tight jeans, embroidered denim jacket, rainbow knit cap.
