Donate a Car

A few years ago, I inherited my great-aunt's car.

It's a 1979 Mercury Zephyr with 66,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner.

I really want to donate the car, but it isn't running nor has it ran in a year or so.

Does anybody know of any charities that will accept this donation and will do the towing and everything?

I have the title and keys.

Permalink Reply by hettie on July 9, 2009 at 7:12pm: you could donate it to kunm. they don't mind if it's not running and they'll come pick it up from you. they'll also send you the appropriate forms to claim the donation on your taxes.
