Is there any place in Albuquerque that serves bugs as food? I've read some articles and watched a few videos and find the concept of eating bugs intriguing and would like to give it a try.

A long time ago, Ta Lin used to sell what looked like large cockroaches in the freezer section, but I haven't seen those for years. The Biopark had a Bug Apertif Dinner in September. Maybe you could find out who did the cooking for that.

Went to a place in NYC, that did.  But not here.

Explora museum giftshop often sells suckers with ants in them and nacho flavored meal worms.

And our patron DCF creator Chantal, I think was involved in a garden snail Escargot dinner a few years back.

Periodically, Once a year or so the Albuquerque BioPark has a Bug Eating event.  Here is my son sampling a grasshopper.  When the guts squired out of it, he got grossed out and stopped eating it.  He liked the deep friend meal worms much better.  Yummy!

I think several places in ABQ serve bugs, but not intentionally.

LOL

aaahahahahaaa, my first thought too!!

When I was on vacation I tried grilled grasshoppers. I thought it tasted quite good. It was very crunchy and it tasted like the spices. It was an interesting experience, but it wasn't that good that I need it everyday now ;)

Unfortunately I don't know any restaurants in this area which serve bugs. I feel sorry that I cannot help.
