Permalink Reply by Hunter on February 23, 2012 at 10:58am I was just kidding, really. The point to be made is that is the kind of investment we need in our community that really pays off long term. Not call centers or promoters who claim they can produce solar panels cheaper than China. Of course, it's worth noting that Paul Allen was an investor in Eclipse Aviation so you can't win them all.
Space chimp. Please.
I would also add the Nuke Museum and the Biology, Anthropology, and Geology Museums on the UNM campus (very small, very science-y), Los Alamos is full of geeky sights, not all of them nuke-related...

Also, the adult nights at Explora. Great fun to go act like a kid, and still (re)learn some science. The Tornado Alley IMAX movie playing now at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. The ghost tours in Old Town. The Albuquerque Trolley tour for locals. I guess I could go on and on!
