So I haven't been to a proper hair stylist since my friend started cutting my hair 2 years ago (he's not a hairstylist, he's a sculptor). I think I'm ready to take the plunge and search for a new hair stylist but I'm not sure where to go. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm sure this subject has come up on DCF in the past but I need some updated insight. I would greatly appreciate it!

yeah, I live a few blocks from them so they are definitely high on my list of possibilities
