My wife who is VERY picky about her hair because she has a lot, it is thick and curly goes to David at Square Root.

I've been delighted with Gambei, which is now on Lomas near 10th. Both my mother and I go to Nicole there. It's a gorgeous setting inside, too.

I see a woman named Nicole at Alchemy, on Menaul, who specializes in shorter cuts, like bobs and pixies. I also used to go to Jessica, who owns Shag and she was fantastic (though pricey).

I recommend any Aveda salon, especially Proteges on Juan Tabo which is a bit less expensive but still has great stylists who are gaining experience after completing their schooling.

Mick at Waves on Central in EDo is quite good! I really like the way he cut and styled my hair. He has recently moved here from the Bay Area of CA. I do not think it will take him long to establish himself!
